About us: Spanner Re² GmbH
Our company was founded in 2004 as the “Renewable Energies” division the Spanner group. We started with the production of pellet heating systems for well-known boiler manufacturers, then in 2008 we laid the foundation stone for our proven biomass power plant systems generating energy from biomass and waste materials. Since 2006, Spanner Re² GmbH has been based in Germany - Lower Bavaria.

With more than 1,100 Biomass power plants installed we are the leading manufacturer in the industry of decentralised biomass and residue gasification. Our technology is a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. It significantly reduces CO2 emissions and efficiently complements the renewable energy mix. It delivers energy on demand, regardless of the weather. It is a game changer in terms of the sustainable energy transition. In times of surplus electricity from photovoltaic (PV) or wind power, the ability to operate plants flexibly is becoming increasingly important. Our wood gasifiers and wood gas combined heat and power plants (CHP) offer this flexibility!

More than 20 years of experience in energy and heating technology
We have been building modern pellet heating systems for 20 years now - initially as a supplier to well-known pellet heating system manufacturers. In 2016, we took over the Austrian brand HAPERO. Drawing on our years of manufacturing expertise, we've developed pellet boilers and now sell pellet heating systems with a thermal output range of 4 to 100 kW, as well as our Biomass power plants. Our modern pellet boilers are available in various output classes and can ensure comfortable temperatures in your home or business. Our systems are manufactured in our plant in Neufahrn, Lower Bavarian, according to the highest quality standards.

Spanner Re²´s Biomass power plants with international quality certificate
Spanner Re² GmbH meets all the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard and are certified by DEKRA Certification. During the audit, the business units involved in the development, manufacture and sale of Biomass power plants consisting of wood gasifiers and combined heat and power units, as well as heating systems and peripherals, successfully met the strict requirements profile in all categories. The certification is also an obligation for us to continue to optimise our procedures, processes and services.
Biomass power plant from Spanner Re² with unit certificate in accordance with BDEW guidelines for medium voltage
We have successfully achieved unit certification in accordance with FGW TR8 and proof of conformity based on the type test in accordance with FGW TR3. The certification serves to confirm compliance with the BDEW guideline for own generation systems on the medium-voltage grid.
