The energy transition is more than just electricity – it's the combination of a heating and mobility transition. With Spanner Re²'s proven wood-fired power plants, operators are independent in terms of energy supply – even when charging their electric vehicles. This is because the electricity generated by the wood gasification plant can be used for this purpose.
Sustainable synergy: Electricity, heat & mobility provided by wood gasifiers
The self-generated electricity doesn't have to be fed into the public grid for compensation. It can be used directly on-site to power electric vehicles with weather-independent energy. While the electric car is charging, the system operator also benefits from the heat for building heating, hot water supply, or drying processes.
Independent mobility pays off:
- Efficiency: Approximately 25 m³ of dry wood chips are sufficient to supply an electric car with electricity from wood gas technology for one year (approx. 30,000 km).
- CO2 savings: Compared to conventional cars, you can save approximately [amount] annually 3,5 tons CO2 This corresponds to a reduction in average per capita emissions in Germany of almost 40%.
