This is how high-quality fuel is produced from waste wood! 👉 In this video, we show how wood waste, e.g., chipboard remnants, MDF, pallet wood, beetle-infested wood, etc., is turned into valuable wood chips.
How does it work?
🔧 First, the wood is shredded.
🧲 Strong magnets remove nails and screws.
🧹 Several screens separate fine particles, long pieces, and wood chips.
🔥 The fine particles? They can be processed into briquettes or used as bedding — this conserves resources and ensures that 100% of the material is used!
The wood chips? They can be dried in our Spanner Re² wood chip dryer incidentally, the heat from our biomass power plants can also be used for this purpose.
📉 Result: Only 8–12% residual moisture – perfect for use in our wood gasifiers and wood gas CHP plants.
Waste wood as fuel for Re² wood gasifiers
Our decentralized biomass power plants generate electricity and heat from waste wood – directly on site and according to demand.
✅ Reliable electricity and heat supply from waste wood or biomass
✅ Over 8,600 operating hours per year possible, or even just seasonally
