Spanner Re² GmbH has successfully commissioned a modular biomass combined heat and power (CHP) plant featuring a Jenbacher 320 (Power Up)- engine with an electrical output of 600 kW. This innovative system is powered by eight modular biomass gasifiers, enabling flexible and demand-driven energy production.

Key highlights of our new Biomass CHP system:

• Modular gasifier configuration: The system comprises eight individually switchable gasifier modules, allowing precise adjustment of gas production to match real-time energy demands.
• Demand-driven gas production: This technology ensures that the produced gas volume aligns exactly with current requirements, enhancing efficiency and minimizing resource wastage.
• High fuel flexibility: Our gasifiers are designed to process a wide range of biomass fuels, offering operators long-term adaptability to various feedstocks.
• Natural gas replacement & load following: The system can substitute natural gas and adapt flexibly to fluctuating energy demands, contributing to energy security and sustainability.
