Biomass power plants from Spanner Re² generate energy from a wide variety of fuels, including kernels.
Current gasification trials with alternative fuels: electricity and heat from date and plum kernels
Trials are currently being carried out with varoius kernels as fuel additives or substitutes. Plum kernels from Europe and date kernels from Tunisia are being used. We believe that investment in a gasifier should not be tied to a specific fuel. This is why our technology is characterised by the flexibility of the residual materials. At our facility in Neufahrn, Lower Bavaria, Germany, we are continuously testing a wide range of fuels in our biomass power plants.
