With a thermal output of around 260 kW, the three biomass power plants and the combined heat and power plant supply 10 households and the company's own theatre square with sustainable heat via a local heating network almost 700 metres long. In addition, the wood chips needed to operate the plant are dried in-house.
Weber Sepp also operates a contract drying plant for wood chips, square bales (hay/straw), grain maize, soya beans, etc. In addition, the approximately 200 kW of electricity produced is remunerated profitably by the Rosenheim public utility company through direct marketing.
