Wood processing, e.g. in the furniture industry, produces waste wood - often in mixed form - which is no problem for our decentralised energy plants. Residual fractions of chipboard or MDF, for example, can be used to generate electricity & heat in our Biomass power plants.
Our proven Biomass power plant technology is so flexible in terms of input materials that chipboard, MDF or veneer residues etc. can be used as fuel and 100% of the time. Switching to traditional wood chips or a mixture of wood chips and particleboard is easy. This means that Re² customers can profitably use exactly the waste material that is currently being produced.
Sustainable energy solutions for the furniture industry: Electricity & Heat generated from chipboard and MDF waste
Proven a thousand times over, our Biomass power plants complete the value chain in the woodworking and furniture industry, while providing energy from waste materials that can be used by the company itself, reducing operating costs to a minimum. This means production with low CO2 emissions, optimum added value, use of decentralised resources and a significant reduction in costs.
